increase in graduation rates after partnering with Kinvolved
Coffee County Schools in Douglas, Georgia was struggling to engage families and recognized a need to include parents in more thoughtful conversations. However, with a slew of competing priorities, the family engagement endeavor was slow-moving in Coffee County Schools, but that all changed unexpectedly during a routine meeting. The result led to a Kinvolved partnership that has produced inspiring outcomes.

“Our graduation rate is the highest it’s ever been, our College and Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI) score—which factors in attendance—is higher than it’s ever been, we were recognized as the Georgia Charter System of the Year, and we were also recognized as the Community Partner of the Year by our Economic Development Authority and Chamber of Commerce. We think communicating and messaging with all stakeholders attributes to the success of the district and ultimately our students—and Kinvolved has been a significant part of that.”

— Dr. Morris Leis, Superintendent
